How a job starts

From the call to the sawmill

Three things that stay the same on every visit in St. Tammany Parish — the family on the phone, the licensed arborist on the lot, and the crew that brings its own truck, crane, and mill.

  1. Looking up at a live oak over a lawn
    01

    We walk the property

The same family answers (985) 792-3066 and walks your lot — one limb over a roof in Covington or a full reclamation in Lacombe.

  2. Climber in a live oak canopy
    02

    A licensed arborist looks

Every job is looked at by a Louisiana Licensed Arborist (#1631) with ISA certification SO-5633A. Licensed and insured.

  3. Milled hardwood slabs beside cut logs

    Our crew brings the mill

Bucket truck for tight quarters, crane for tall pines, and a sawmill so a removed tree can be cut up for you to keep.

About the crew

A family crew with its own sawmill

Tammany Tree Service has been family owned and operated since 2005, working the St. Tammany area from Mandeville to Pearl River. The same family answers the phone, walks your property, and runs the saws — and the company slogan has stayed the same the whole time: no job is too big or too small.

The crew is led by a Louisiana Licensed Arborist (#1631) with ISA certification SO-5633A. That license sits on every visit, whether the call is a single limb over a roof in Covington or a full landscape reclamation in Lacombe. The company is licensed and insured, and it has held an Angie's List Super Service Award.

The crew runs a bucket truck for tight quarters, a crane for tall pines and difficult removals, and its own sawmill — so a removed tree doesn't have to leave your property as waste. It can be cut up for you to keep. Office hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 7 PM; Sunday the office is closed, and 24-hour emergency tree service still answers.

Pay the way that works for you: cash, check, or financing with payment plans on larger jobs. Senior citizens take 10% off the total cost — mention it when you call (985) 792-3066.
